John Hickey is an Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Duke University with secondary appointments in the School of Medicine. He obtained his PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins where he developed magnetic nanoparticles for rare antigen-specific T-cells and designed hydrogels for adaptive T-cell therapy.

His lab aims to use and develop systems biology tools to describe ano control spatial relationships between cells in tissues.
